What did you identify as your reasons for taking this course? Why did you select those? How would you state an overall goal for wanting to study the Bible better?

I didn’t grow up attending church or youth group. Bible study basics should be useful for me. Helps me know God and love God. Interpret and apply His Word. Receive training in righteousness, and be equipped to do good work. Read, learn, know, remember, act.

I believe your education never ends throughout your life. The most important thing that guides my path is the Word of God; without continuous study and discussion an individual might become stagnant or side-tracked. I want to continue my education, it is important to me to be able to pass my understanding on to others.

I’m want to know the Lord through His word. I am also want to know him as the maker of heaven and the earth.

I want to know what God’s Will is for me, so that he can use me effectively. I chose it because I have developed this want over the past year thanks to my Grandma (She is with the Lord now). My overall goal is to understand God and his secrets.

The reason I am taking this course is honestly because it was one part of the certificate pathway. Prior to starting the certificate program, I had jumped right in to the studies of various books of the Bible. I took for granted the opportunity to remind myself of many of the important things to consider when studying the bible, as well as opportunities to learn some new things to consider. I am hoping that this course will help me to grow in my Bible study.
