I want to know all I can about God. What his expectations are of me and to know when I open my mouth to tell someone about our wonderful God that every word I speak to the truth.

As a child of God and a disciple of Jesus Christ, I want to be equipped to handle the Word of God correctly, to benefit myself and those I minister to. For myself, I needed to know how to study God’s word so that I can be rooted in Christ, not swayed by every wind of doctrine and false teaching in the world. For others, when I am rooted in the Word, I can be more accurate and effective to use the Word of God to touch the lives of others.

My reasons for taking this course, learning more about God’s teachings. Getting to know God better, and be able to reach doubters and nonbelievers. Being able to live God’s word and making a difference in someone else’s life. Seeking and understanding God’s word.

Because I want to build a better Bible study habit, through that, I hope to learn more about God and apply it to my life.
