I took this course to learn how to study the bible and gain understanding of its contents. Also, I want to know more of our history.

I want to learn more so that I can live according to Gods word. I want to know how to interpret the scriptures and not accept what others give me. I would also like to defend Gods word to nonbelievers so they will be saved.

Additional reasons I find it necessary to take this course to make sure I don’t provide misleading information when facilitating groups with individuals from diverse backgrounds. it would allow me to go deeper into my personal studies i.e. who is speaking these words? To whom is he speaking? etc. I am not knowledgeable in this area; I find it a great learning experience that I can share a more adeptness of God’s Word for myself and to help others as well accordingly.

I took the Bible Basic Study course to become familiar with the observation, interpretation & application questions to ask myself and/or group setting, essential contents within the scriptures. I also enjoyed the Bible Basic course to apply additional tools, study preparations to facilitate Bible study groups, learn the format and questions to ask my Bible Study audience. I find the Bible study layout and format used for this course was very organized, inspirational, and enhanced my insight from different perspectives in a personal and group setting.

As I have grown up, it seems I have become less knowledgable in how to study the Bible now that I am more familiar with the stories.
