to gain knowledge and to have confidence when speaking about our Lord.

I selected this course to learn more about God’s word in a structured setting. I’ve been attempting to study on my own and can get disorganized pretty quickly. Overall, I’d like to know God better, serve him better and minister his word with a foundation in sound doctrine.

I want to know God better to share with people for salvation. The reason for my wanting to share my faith better is so that I can explain the gospel. I want to know God so personally that I can feel His presence in all circumstances.

My reasons for taking this course is to further my understanding of God’s living Word. No matter how many times I glean God’s Word there is always more to gather.

All of the reasons apply but the most important to me is to know God better. By knowing God better, I will develop a deeper love for God. As a result, my thoughts, actions, and desires will be more in line with God’s will. As an added benefit, the increased knowledge of God’s Word will add to my confidence in teaching, sharing my faith, and participating in Bible study groups.
