I am wanting to learn more and be able to better teach what I have learned.

I am in a major transition period in my life where I want to walk closer to God, follow Him, and join a ministry that serves Him. I felt led to study the bible because there is a lot I don’t understand or know and I need a better foundation than what I have if I plan on working in ministry.

To know God and His word more and to help others to do the same.

The reason that I am taking this course is to get to know God better and that isn’t possible if I am relying on getting God’s message from someone else, even if that person is a pastor. I’ve always been the type of person who will trust what people say but I always verify with my own research. It’s even more important these days to verify all information. The more I learn about the Bible, the more I want to learn.

I hope to know God more and serve Him better. I also want to know more about the Bible for the sake of (academic?) curiosity. I suppose my overall goal would be to grow in God’s grace and the knowledge of Christ.
