To understand it better so I can teach it to others. Also, to listen when God speaks to me.

It matters to us as believers and for us to shine as lights to others

It matters to God. I want to know God more and study better and get more out of my devotion time.

To learn to live by God’s teachings, to know God better, to prepare for a vocational ministry and to become more effective in sharing my faith.
I want to be able to correctly interpret God’s word and apply it to my daily living. I want to have a better understanding of God’s character. I would also like to be better equipped for whatever ministry opportunities open up for me. My overall goal for studying the Bible is to have a better understanding of God’s word, to rightly divide the word of truth, to walk closer to God and to be able to share the hope that lies within me with the lost souls God leads me to.
