My identifying reasons for taking this course are to know God intimately and to be able to unequivocally share His word with unbelievers, skeptics and the deceived “lukewarmers.” I chose these because it is time in my Christian walk to stop drinking milk and move on to solid food. My overall goal for wanting to study the Bible better is to establish and sharpen my spiritual disciplines.

I just have an unquenchable desire to learn as much as I can about God. I am 71 and have read through the Bible many times but it just shows me just how much I am ignorant of his word, because I learn something new every time I read it. I am even learning Biblical Hebrew so that I can deep dive word meanings. Plus, I am hopeful that I will slow the effects of dementia and forgetfulness. (God willing) Also, I want to be able to help my adult children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren. Until the Rapture occurs, or I am called home by Our Lord, I will keep trying to learn all I can.

Starting somewhere to get to know Him better and the power of his calling. I am on a quest to grow spiritually and grow in grace.

What did you identify as your reasons for taking this course? I wanted to know the Bible better so that I could get a better understanding, I want to teach others so that they can know who God is and for them to teach other people about who God is.
Why did you select those? I want a better understanding of God and I want other people how to know Him.
How would you state an overall goal for wanting to study the Bible better? God is important to me and His written word is the only way for me to build a relationship with Him.
