We often see bible verses on their own, cut away from the context that surrounds them. These situations occur far too often across the ever-growing platforms of social media. Studying the Bible, in its entirety, will help me to understand the who, what, where, when, why, and how that surrounds the individual verses of the Bible. It will help me to truly understand, not just know, what the Bible says. It will assist me in guiding others when questions about scripture arise. Above all else, studying God’s word will bring me closer to God and mature my knowledge of and love for Him.
