my overall goals in wanting to study the bible is to know God more, to be able to love Him more and to be able to distinguish between good and evil. how can I wholeheartedly praise God if I do know know Him or begin to understand His ways? I want to grow in love and faith of Him, see Him in all aspects of my life and those around me, and know His thoughts about our lives. I want to worship Him with understanding

When we read the Bible, we are spending time with God. Along with prayer and praise, we have many privileges of drawing near and abiding in Him. Reviewing basics also helps to strengthen foundations and benefit future learning.

I decided to take this course to learn how to study the Word of the Lord. As mentioned, the Bible is unique book, different from all others. Therefore, I want to learn how to study the Word and become a better student and ultimately better Christian.

I want to know God better and understand his holy Word.

I’m taking this course to continue to learn how to handle scripture well as I interact and teach others from it. It’s applicable to my job and will help with daily personal growth too.
