I’ve seen hypocrisy play out in quite a few ways. We as the church are extremely judgmental and think the we (individually) have all the answers. (We haven’t talked to GOD about the issue), we just render our personal judgment. (Judge not, least ye be judged.)

We have also, made people of different cultures and beliefs feel unwanted, unloved and unnecessary. (For GOD so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten SON. That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.) He can we compell others to come to Him, when we are doing more and more repelling. (We all have fallen short) But, thanks be to GOD that we have a true advocate in Christ Jesus.

We also we read, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you and love others as we love ourselves. It also goes on to say, Love is patient and kind, etc.” If we aren’t demonstrated love then we have missed the compassion for us the lost shown from the cross.

To eliminate hypocrisy is through prayer, supplication, compassion and love. Treat others the way we want to be treated.

There are times that I see some of my brothers and sisters in Christ tend to judge others or jump to conclusions regarding someone in the church. The best way to eliminate hypocrisy is to keep on praying for one another so that we emulate God’s ways and let the Holy Spirit reign in us so that we will bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit and we can serve, love, and care for others who are compelled or driven by God’s gracious and unfailing love. In addition, accountability should also be a top priority so that we can check each other off if we start acting immorally against others.

Throughout history one of the biggest atrocities of the church was false teaching. As I study the bible, I think of Paul the apostle and I pity him. He would run around from church to church uselessly trying to cast demons out of demons. The foundation of the church started out welcoming all. Well, when you invite any and everybody in, any and everybody will come in. There was no sure remedies or mythologies for keeping out false teaching and there were none for the hypocrites. So, the way I see things is like this, maybe God intended for us to pray for souls of such, pray the holy spirit into them. If the devil is working your church that means that the Holy Spirit is not working and all who claim to be servants of the Lord in that church is at fault. There is a lack of leadership in the church, just do not give individuals leadership positions teach the true meaning of Christian Leadership. For, instance ODB has many leadership courses available, and I plan to take some of them very soon. Take a stand in your church whenever you see the devil working the floor. As you move in on casting him out pray that other believers will join you. Remember the Holy Spirit is our helper in the church we have to use it always. (Acts 1:8-11); (Acts 2)

I remember when I was a kid, our family used to go to church every Sunday until it suddenly stopped. Then I realized that there were conflicts in the church management that discouraged my parents, which still resounds to this day. Unfortunately, in this corrupted world and corrupted body, hypocrisy is present everywhere and even in ourselves. It is only by fully surrendering our lives to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, every day and being dependent on the Holy Spirit, who sustains and enables us to wait on God with perseverance till we meet Him again and be transformed into our glorified bodies.
