These two views differ because existentialism focuses on personal freedom and creating meaning, while monotheism emphasizes following religious rules and beliefs.

Naturalism and Monotheism. Naturalism deals with matter and humans as machines whereas Monthesism belives that God exists and is involved in all things.

Nihilists and Monotheists differ the most in my opinion. Because Nihilists believe that its all unreliable and our origin is completely unknown, while Monotheists believe that we were created with a purpose and to be in relationship with that Creator.

Of the seven worldviews, I believe that monotheism and naturalism differ the most when answering the question, “Who am I?”. Monotheism believes that humans are spirit filled creatures created in the image of God whereas naturalism believes humans to be just a highly developed animal. Naturalists see humans as no more than biological machines but that humans are in no part spirit beings.

The question of “Who am I?” is answered most differently between monotheism and nihilism. According to monotheism, an intelligent, personal, Creator God create all living beings, ultimately giving us original meaning and purpose. According to nihilism, there is no clear, reliable origin of life; humans purpose and meaning in life is open for continual definition; and, furthermore, all history and origin is not to be trusted. A nihilist must find a way to define oneself.
