The Nihilist and the monotheists have the most differ answers to the question of “Who am I?”. The Nihilist believe there is no reason or purpose for their existence. Where as the monotheists believe they were created by and for God.

In my opinion, the question, “Who am I?” is answered most differently by the monotheistic worldviews of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam as contrasted with the world views of Nihilism which rejects a belief in spiritual revelation, as well as knowledge assumed by institutions…all knowledge to them is bogus; nothing is clear and comprehensible.

Monotheism – We are the designed work of a Creator. We were created for a purpose. Monotheist claim to have knowledge of a very specific beginning.
Nihilism – Nihilist believe that nothing of this origin can be known. Everything is baseless.

Perhaps the monotheistic view and the nihilism view are the widest apart in the fact that the monotheistic religions provide us with the creation story, the three major worldviews pretty well sharing the first five books of the Bible. It strikes me that the nihilistic view hold out very little hope for who I am and why I am and what does it really matter anyway.

Monotheists vs Nihilists
Monotheists believe that we humans are made in the image and likeness of God.
Nihilists have no clear, lasting identity at all. They have no answer to the Q of who they are period. It could also be argued that the most difference comes between monotheists vs existentialists. See above for monotheism view on who am I Q. Existentialists believe they must invent/define themselves and who they are vs any external source.
