I think Monotheism and Nihilism have very different beliefs when it comes to answering the question, “Who am I?” All monotheistic religions give very clear identity. You know you are made in the image of God but are also in need of redemption. In all of the religions your identity comes from God. In Nihilism your identity comes from nothing. You essentially have no identity or purpose because you have no creator.

“Who am I?” is answered most differently between monotheism and deism. Monotheism contends that people are flawed and need a Savior. Deists believe that people are not fallen and no transformation is needed.
