It is absolutely part of my role. We as teachers sometimes should mentor other teachers, and aids as well, not just our students.

I haven’t considered mentorship as part of my role, but I can see how it could be very beneficial to both parties.

Yes I have, primarily because I didn’t receive positive mentorship in my youth.
It has become a very sacred part of my life’s journey as well as my professional calling as a Teacher. I don’t always do it well, but I most assuredly do it with my best intentions.

I do believe all Christians are called to mentor. I try to help my students grow in more ways than just academically and become disciples in their lives.

Mentorship is something I consider as part of my role. The amount of time that students spend in the classroom gives great opportunity for mentorship. Additionally, we cannot care for the whole child if we do not follow through with our lessons and principles with practical application of how these truths look in our lives.
