I have mentored new teachers and found it very rewarding as I not only guided them but learned from them, too.

Yes, sometimes students need to be mentored by their teachers especially if they do not have an ideal role model at home.

Our school in a k-12 school. I have students whom I have taught come back and talk to me. I believe you should always mentor your students or new teachers.

No, it is not. There are many hats that we wear as educators but this is not one that I normally consider.
