I have mentored students over the years. I am still mentoring. I see mentorship as part of my role as a Christian educator because there are students who needed mentorship all the time. It is a great joy to be involved in this blessed commission.

Mentorship is super important. It being “natural” you feel good while learning. Right now I have a mentor guiding me on the first couple years of teaching.

Yes, I am already mentoring students as a Christian educator and missionary. This is basically my calling in or outside the classroom.

I have been a mentor before and I have taken it upon myself to watch out for students who may be struggling with academics to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities. It is important because students need to know someone cares.

Mentorship plays a role in our school mostly between our new faculty and veteran faculty. We do focus our intervention department on mentorship with one on one instruction and relationship building. It is hard to implement because it is so time intensive.
