I am a coach (basketball) at our school.I am blessed to mentor many young student athletes. It’s a responsibility I cherish.

I never considered myself a mentor or someone who would lead a mission. I never thought I had what it would take to fulfill that role, and I have looked to others to fulfill that need on my campus, specifically the admin and those who teach Theology.

I have not considered mentorship in a traditional or formal capacity, rather I try to take advantage of teachable moments to pour life and growth into my students.

I do mentor my student to the degree that I even bring them to church with me. Mentorship breaths life into student and the individual doing the mentoring. I have been blessed and have also seen the life of my students change for the better through this process.

Yes absolutely, I want nothing more than to be their mentor and guide them through life. Especially when it comes to difficult situations, I want to help them feel comfortable with sharing these things with their loved ones if necessary.
