Yes, our school is a place of redemption. We desire to correct behavior, yes, but help the student understand that mistakes happen due to our fallen nature, we are all created in God’s image so therefore God’s greatest desire is relationship with us. When we sin, it separates us from God. We want to help the students see that Christ redeemed us on the cross for not only our sin nature, but for the sins we commit daily because of that sin nature still residing in us on earth. At the end of the day, a student should know they are loved by their Creator, forgiven by their Creator – and that the teacher feels the same.

I dont believe my school is a place of redemption. When children exibit challenging behaviors, teachers hold it against the child. They dont necessarily treat the child meanly, but the tension that follows does not let the child know that there are other chances.

Our school is. Solace of redemption. When a student was approaching the demerit level for suspensions, we placed him on a weekly meeting with the head of school to work on a biblically based behavior plan. After a few weeks, he stopped getting in trouble.

Yes, I believe that we are a school who would be considered a place of redemption. Our policies and teaching is based on a biblical worldview. The gospel is forefront as you walk through each course.

I would say that we have policies and initiatives set in place so that students can see the redemption that is available through Christ, whether it be our weekly chapel services or daily in courses through the Biblical integration.
