My school is a place of redemption. We give students the space to grow in their walk with God. We demonstrate God’s grace and love to them. So if a student does make a mistake, we can guide them and teach them about God’s love and forgiveness.

Last year was my first year teaching at this school and from what I saw I would say yes. The care for each child and family is exceptional. The faculty puts a lot of emphasis on God and instilling Godly character in each of the students who go to this school.

I can only imagine that it is having read their mission statement and the beliefs they adhere to. I know that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone and the foundation upon which all other things are built. I have seen both teachers and parents alike beaming ear to ear, knowing they are in a place that loves the Lord, loves the students and holds biblical values. I believe students are held accountable for their actions, but also extended a lesson in grace. From what I have seen, my school does believe that students can grow and learn, and they offer a nurturing and redeeming environment for them to do just that.

One of the areas of significant growth for my school has been becoming a place of redemption. Extending grace to students and creating an environment where there is accountability has been a balancing act that is now in place.

Yes, our school demonstrates grace upon grace. However, we also hold our students accountable for their actions.
