Yes, if a student does wrong, they have their consequence, and then we move on. We don’t hold it against them all day.

Yes, I work at a place of redemption. My school focuses on helping students grow, instead of expelling students after their first offense.

Yes, the school I am teaching at is a place of redemption. God’s word is at the very heart of the school where there is an understanding that we have all been redeemed through Christ’s sacrifice. A price was paid for us that we didn’t deserve but the price was paid anyway because God loves us this much.

Yes, all discipline is seeking to be restorative and not punitive. It is important that students not only know this but sense it and feel it when they are being disciplined.
