Is your school a “place of redemption”? Explain.

I feel that our school gives students many chances. Sometimes students are even given too many chances. Students aren’t shamed or ridiculed when they make mistakes but are corrected in a way that gives them dignity.

It is, in a lot of ways. But there are still some punitive measure I think. We aren’t all on the same page in terms of discipline or assessment but I think there are enough teachers who have a relationship with students that it is more redemptive in heart, though the practices need to follow.

Yes, my school is an outreach ministry and it is a place of redemption. Our administration, faculty, and staff share the gospel and try to model redemption as we teach our students.

Yes, we teach students the Scripture, operate in a spirit of forgiveness and grace, but we also ensure that students are accountable for their actions.
