    Monotheism- The Chosen.

    Deism- Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were diests apparently from the lesson.

    Naturalism- Charles Darwin and his book “The Origin of Species.”

    Nihilism- Kierkegaard and Turgenev were famous Nihilists.

    Existentialism- Friedrich Nietzsche’s strands of thinking lead to this movement.

    Pantheism- Practicing true yoga for more than just the exercise component.

    Monotheism – 3 Major Religions Christianity, Judaism, and Muslim.

    Deism – Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were some who believe that God created but left things alone for man to run.

    Naturalism – The theory of evolution came from Charles Darwin’s work on The Origin of Species -only matter exists and try chance things came about.

    Nihilism – Ivan Turgenev suggested in his book Fathers and Sons that a nihilist does not bow down to authority and dispute any form of main stream belief

    Existentialism – meaning comes by temporary cause that elevates their level of importance in life according to themselves and not any particular God or religion.

    Pantheism – Becoming one with the universe through meditation and one in spirit with nature.

    The pope is an example of a person with a monotheistic worldview. Some of our founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were deists. Carl Sagan is a modern-day example of a naturalist. Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols were modern day practitioners of nihilism. The eastern religion of Buddhism has much of its roots in existentialism. The musical group The Beatles ascribed to a pantheistic philosophy propagated by Mahareeshi Yogi in the 1960’s

    Monotheism – Christian Beliefs by Wayne Grudem is a book that describes a monotheistic belief

    Deism – Ben Franklin was a deist that believed in God, but not in any revelation of scriptures or prophesies

    Naturalism – Charles Darwin’s The Origin of Species is a book detailing naturalism

    Nihilism – The Joker in The Batman Movie

    Existentialism – The Sopranos was possibly a show with an existentialism theme

    Pantheism – Gandhi was a pantheist

    Monotheism – The Holy Bible
    Deism – Thomas Jefferson and rejection of the miracles and revelation of the Gospel and “The Word of God” replacing with human reasoning.
    Naturalism – Darwinism and evolution all beginning from nothing.
    Nihilism – True atheists that go against anything with morals or values nothing. Father of nihilism is Nietschke
    Existentialism – Being free from God and control your own self. Most famous is Jean-Paul Sartre
    Pantheism – Buddhist are a good example of being one with the universe. Yoga.
