Monotheism- As a Christian, going to church we meet people alike who follow and practice the principles of Christianity. On the same hand, I have friends who are Muslim and practice and follow the teaching of Islam, believing that the Quran is the infallible word of Allah (God).

Deism- There are a lot of rappers and artist who I believe fall under Deism as they profess that “we are all gods and have the power to create and change things as there perspective. There are many people that I have met in passing and heard speaking that rejects the supernatural events we believe in as Christians, and also rejects the rituals and ceremonies of all religions.

Naturalism- I think of Charles Darwin in the case of Naturalism. I remember all the books he would write and put out to make theological doctrines look like the worst thing ever in which he stated, ” at worst totally fraudulent and at best merely symbolic of deep human aspirations.”

Nihilism- The best example of this was the one given in Ivan Turgenev, who stated, ” A Nihilist is a person who does not bow down to any authority, who does not except any principle of faith, however, much principle may be revered. I can say that some hate groups and or organizations resembles many parts of the Nihilism philosophy.

Existentialism- I have witnessed many people become this after life as they once knew it was gone. In serving in the community, I have ran across people who have lose all hope and believe that life is meaningless, and that there is no significance in life other than what they can personally create.

Pantheism- I think of Buddhist off the top of my head when I think of the principles of Pantheism. Yoga is another example that comes to mind in this particular world view, and the state of reality they want you to dive into.
