Cain became disappointed because God received Abel’s offering and not his. It caused him to commit murder and he was banished to another area on God’s earth.
Saul became disappointed because he felt that he had the right to make more decisions than he was allowed such as who to kill and who to spare, what to take and what to leave and whether or not to get rid of David because of Saul’s jealousy. Saul lost the kingdom and then he lost his life because he consistently disobeyed God.
Judas was disappointed because, well, we aren’t for sure, but it could have been because he wanted to be a part of an awesome and amazing earthly kingdom. He wanted riches and power and complete freedom alongside Jesus, who he wanted to become a king on this earth. Saul – thought He could do Samuels priestly service. Saul must have been disappointed in Gods absence … when Samuel hadn’t turned up at the agreed time.
Elijah must have been really disappointed in God after the huge testimony of His power through the fire from heaven – followed by Jezebels death threat.
Noah must have been disappointed in God when absolutely nobody believed him when he warned them of the coming doom.
Jonah must have been really disappointed in God for giving the Ninevites another chance!!
