Of the five “p’s”, which do you find you excel at and which are more challenging for you?

I have given to people with signs asking for donations standing on street corners near Walmart or near freeway offramps. Even though the city ordinances are contrary to such giving. I have mentally questioned their need, but resolved to just give when led and have cash and leave that responsibility on them. I remember one experience when filling up at a gas station, where a young person approached me asking for cash. I asked if he and his friend were hungry, and he replied yes. I bought them several lunch sandwiches instead. As I was leaving I saw him toss the sandwiches in the traxh can, and noticed them heading to a liquor store not far away. I was content that I tried to help them regardless of the reaction.

Although, I give to charities I don’t give anything specifically to the poor. Going to rearrange some funds now, so I can do that.

I never gave to the poor, except when I see a homeless person who asked for money for food, I try to buy them food.
