existentialism and naturalism are alike in that there is not much meaning to life and things just happen to be.

Monotheism and Nihilsm are dissimilar in that monotheism would bring purpose and meaning into every area of life while nihilism would not bow down to an ultimate authority.

Judaism & Christianity– mainly Jesus is the only differing factor. Any of the top 3 and pantheism.

Monotheism vs Nihilism probably… An ultimate moral compass is quite important, especially with Love at the center like in Christianity. Nihilism arrogantly pushes that away and destroys wonderful, beautiful structures and guidance that keep societies, families, people strong and supported.

I think monotheism and deism are the most similar. They believe that there is a higher power that created the world and has ultimate power over creation.

Monotheism and nihilism seem the furthest away from each other. Monotheism recognizes a higher power that created the world and is deeply immeshed in the world. It shows that God is caring for his creation and has a hand in the daily aspects of life. Nihilism rejects the idea that there is purpose in any of our actions or in the world itself. Nihilism says nothing matters and monotheism says everything matters so much that God would be part of it.

I think the two most alike are deism and naturalism in that each world has a beginning, but progresses on its own.

The two most dissimilar might be Christianity, with its foundation in a God who has revealed absolute truth, and nihilism where there is no objective truth to be understood and embraced.
