I use to reference my students to the story of how Jacob stole the blessing from Esau as a clear example of how our senses can lie to us. Isaac blessed the wrong son because his senses tricked him. This is a perfect example that we should keep our eyes on Him and trust His word and not even trust our own senses.

By pointing out differences to views, statements, and information that opposes the Christian view of epistemology and teaching students to filter such through that view as well.

I keep the Word of God/Truth in their eye gates and ear gates through prayer and various media outlets relating to age appropriateness- internet, PureFlix movies and documentaries, “The Voice of the Martyr” magazine editions, faith-based posters and children LifeSkills series, and praise and worship music. All of these practical ways as a Christian Educator helps me through faith in God, via Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit to combat postmodernism and relativism each day, so students will “Believe none of what they see, and half of what they here”, in other words, teaching them to be cautious about accepting something without evidence.

When you know the truth it shall set you free. That is what wee need when, where can we find such truths if not in the Bible. This is the manual that we need when things are going wrong or correctly, we should go there to see why or what to do. This will be my response.
