We need to pont students to the Bible as the starting point of our beliefs. We should also be able to show students the fallacies of postmodernism. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, and direct our students to focus on Christ.

The Bible clearly teaches that we will not know everything. There will be things we simply will not understand this side of heaven. Our truth rests in our trust of God, and our assurance that He is taking care of us.

Truth is not just knowing what we see or feel. It does not just come through out senses. Christ is above and beyond what we can just experience ourselves through our senses. God’s word is the test.

I use to reference my students to the story of how Jacob stole the blessing from Esau as a clear example of how our senses can lie to us. Isaac blessed the wrong son because his senses tricked him. This is a perfect example that we should keep our eyes on Him and trust His word and not even trust our own senses.

By pointing out differences to views, statements, and information that opposes the Christian view of epistemology and teaching students to filter such through that view as well.
