I do this by allowing them to be heard, but by also teaching them Truth is NOT in the eyes of the beholder. Truth needs no support system is stands on its own merit. Teaching students that Gods word is truth and they can rely on it.

Practical ways that I can respond to the challenges that postmodernism presents to the Christian view of epistemology might be emphasizing the truths that we see reflected from the Bible in the world. Truths such as how the Bible explains the creation of the world, specifically the separation of land and water or the skies and the seas and how these are seen as truths even now.

Providing a forum for philosophical argument, teaching a biblical worldview, and encouraging them to look at what is real and what exists through the lens of the Christian faith.

I think it is super important to allow students to express how they feel and give them the space to do so. As well as, giving them tools to be able to process things in a healthy way and learn how to regulate their emotions.

As a Christian educator, I can remind our students that the Bible is true and guides us on how to live. I can take care to lovingly remind them that there is right and wrong, and the Lord values His human creations through what He has deemed right and wrong. We also have a unique opportunity as Christian educators to care about the feelings and experiences of our students while being able to compare those to what actually corresponds to Truth in reality. Not shying away from tough conversations will give me opportunities to present true principles of right and wrong.
