I find it interesting that the author uses the phrase “if we fail” because there is no question about it, we will fail. When this happens, God wants to assure us that He is there for us, He wants to have a relationship with us. This has always been the case, and will always continue to be the case.

Return back to our creator, is what He wants us to do. Despite all of our disobedience, He still calls us back, grants us grace and He forgives us. What an amazing love.

God is a gracious God. He wants an intimate relationship with us. It’s significant because we fail Him every day, but He still loves and us and wants us to come back to Him and be in right relationship with Him.

Because God loves us and He wants relationship (continuously) with us.
