It is significant to us today b/c sin and rebellion and us trying to live as we see fit is still amongst us today b/c we are human and God knows and understands that and yet He still calls us back to Him thru every wrong turn, wrong move and stupid choice we make and He accepts our asking Him for forgiveness and repentance and then helps us move forward into His love and mercy and into a better and deeper understanding of Him and a deeper walk with Him and thru Him.

We will fail. God’s love for us and desire for a relationship with us is the most important realization we will ever know. God’s love is beyond our human capacity to grasp, but when we accept this love in true faith we become His children both now and in the world to come.

It is significant because we live in a fallen world, and we all are infected with the sin nature. Redemption is God’s ultimate desire for His people. He desires fellowship with us, but that can only happen through faith in Jesus Christ.

God has not changed, and His love and grace and always there for those who seek His forgiveness and restoration.

We all fail and fall short but God wants to forgive and restore us through his love and forgiveness
