I believe everyone knows what failure is and sometimes some people might feel like they are beyond redemption. This message of hope in God’s forgiveness is especially important to those that don’t believe they can still be saved.

It builds faith and confidence in our beliefs. Knowing that even after failure and after failure again, Gods love is stronger than our sin. He will accept us over and over.

It shows that we are not completely lost as long as we seek for His righteousness.

as humans, we are no different than our ancestors or the people in the old testament; we all sin and fall short of God’s glory, and we all have the same heart motives, no matter the age we live in. we all wander away from God’s ways and need to be reminded that God remains the same: just as He continued to call people in Old testament back to Him, He welcomes and calls us back to Him as well.

This is significant to us today because God’s desire for us today is the same as in the Old Testament times, God does not change. We serve a gracious, loving and forgiving God who loves us and created us for love and relationship with Him.
