God is love, and He desires reconciliation. HE created us for love and relationship, and He will continue to pursue us for exactly that to the very end because of His great love.

It is very important today because the same God who spoke to the his people long time is still talking and calling us to him. He is still calling with the same message of his love, compassion and kindness. He is still forgiving us and wants us to come back to him.

This is significant to us today because we need to remember that God is in the business of redeeming not condemning. He wants us to be in relationship with him in order to provide relationship. He has to give us grace and opportunity to know that we can come to him at any time.

It is still significant today because God never change. His love endures for-ever and he is a God of second chance.

Because we were created in the image of God and designed to be in intimate relationship with him it’s important that we fundamentally understand that God not only loves us but likes us, wants to spend time with us, and commune with us. In order for us to allow the Lord to correct us when we fail and welcome his discipline as love we have to understand his love for us that makes him desire our coming back to him.
