An interactive lesson could be learning about plants in science and tying in the creation story, or how God cloths the lilies of the valley in the NT. There are so many Bible stories that can relate to what we teach in our classrooms.

An interactive lesson could involve using your weekly vocabulary words to tie into a Bible story that you are/have learned in the past. This might be to describe some of the people in the Bible, the setting of a Bible story, or the ways God worked., etc.

An example could be to integrate various Psalms that discuss the magnitude of God’s power and His creative nature in science lessons about natural forces.

One of the weekly assignments for my students is to present a current event and give a reaction. Often one of the core values we discuss is respect for others’ opinions. We don’t have to agree with everyone, but as Christ-followers, we must show respect. “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10

I had the kids draw an array of 2×2 like in Noahs ark. They got to draw animals to show their arrays.
