I can conduct an interactive lesson about cell transport in these ways. First, I write on the board a Scripture about God’s omniscience in creating us. Then we study a slideshow, answering questions on a worksheet. Third, I ask the students to stand up and form a cell membrane. Some students act as oxygen, water, phosphate or nitrogen molecules. I direct them how they are to pass through the cell membrane. Finally, they sit down and we discuss how this process was designed by a very Intelligent Designer for our nutritional benefit.

Teaching students about pi and other irrational numbers that have an infinitely long, non-repeating decimal can be used to discuss our infinite Lord. Pi is the constant number that always results when you divide the circumference of a circle by its diameter, by it is an infinitely long, non-repeating decimal. God is infinite. Yet He came to earth and took on the form of man, Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us that God and Jesus are equal. Infinite God became finite man to save us from our sins. We can give the plan of salvation from a lesson on Pi.

Last year, we studied the Prince by Machiavelli. We contrasted the leadership of Jesus with the evil manipulative leadership of Machiavelli.

Even using a secular curriculum, we need to find the biblical integration of the content through verses, passages, and parables…. We should use every opportunity to relate the content with God’s word.

I bring the Bible lesson I am teaching at that moment to every other subject during the day. I try to relate the teaching in that Bible story to math problems and to scientific discoveries. During writing time I suggest a topic about the Bible story they are learning about.
