I then brought in a chrysalis and we talked about how when we accept Jesus as our Lord we are like the butterfly that emerges from a cocoon. We were like this larvae without Christ, living earthbound and much like a worm. But then we transform and become a beautiful butterfly! No longer earthbound but we become a new creature, we can fly!

We look at the way he employed different strategies for those with different worldviews. This led to a great lesson on how we can best share the gospel with people by finding out what they currently believe, asking good questions, and then proceeding from there.

It is incredible to take a close look at God’s creation. We get to talk about how the ability to see BECAUSE of light. So many scriptural supports for the importance of light.
