During a Money Management class I taught, we talk about debt. We go into the scripture to see what the Bible says about debt. There are so many applications in this class that can be found in scripture.

In studying Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” at some point in the play before the end, students must choose a main character and write to them, giving them biblical advice regarding their life that would help them in their struggles. As a class, students and teachr discuss passages that have helped them in their life struggles

There was a lesson on creation and math. For a total of 7 days students would mix a new math concept to a new creation from God.

Perserverance in relationship to complex math. Working unto the Lord not man when things are hard.

We do a big animal unit. We talk about how God created each animal uniquely and how it helps them survive. I also like to talk about Christian values in social studies, especially our economy chapter. We discuss how God made us to be of service to others.
