Having parents as guest speakers for topics we are covering in class. Often they are experts and provide a new point of view for students. Having parents volunteer or be in charge of class activities or parties.

By allowing them to share on career day. By asking for classroom volunteers. By occasionally assigning homework that involves the help of a parent. (Child interviewing a parent) as an example.

I think it would be a great idea to have parents involvement consistently, depending on the grade level they could have a different parent read or help with rotations. Also, parent night should be a thing where the parents get to come together and bond.

For a while now, I have been wanting to bring in some of our parents with certain occupations to speak with our student body about their career, to allow some of the parents to pour into our students. Additionally, I think it would be a good idea to look to our parent population to meet any needs within the school, such as printing, branding, catering, and decorating, before looking at outsourcing to the community.

We allow parents to teach specials classes where they can share their talents.
