Many of us possess an inherent inclination to fix or resolve the problems faced by others. Simultaneously, we are acutely aware of our own insufficiencies when it comes to independently resolving matters of the soul. Consequently, we may be hesitant to delve beneath the surface and truly explore people as we ought to. Nevertheless, recognizing that Curiosity will never uncover what grace cannot handle.—or, to put it differently, that grace extends its cover over a multitude of sins and that the Holy Spirit abounds with grace—offers immense comfort and invaluable assistance. It liberates and empowers us to embrace the task of genuinely being curious about others.

It means I don’t have to be afraid of what the other person will reveal. I don’t have to fix their lives. God isn’t even worried about fixing all their problems. If the whole point of trials is to grow closer to God, than trials aren’t bad, they aren’t anything to be afraid of, and I can be curious because the other person’s problems aren’t mine to fix!

Scriptures highlight that the heart is deceitful above all things, that man’s righteousness are like filthy rags. And a honest look into our inner world and curiosity in the live of others will reinforce that truth and open our eyes to its reality. And if we are not careful, we can withdraw from this curiosity in the lives of other, or even fall into hopelessness and despair.
This is where the sufficiency of God’s grace becomes important, the grace that enables us to embrace our inadequacy and put ourselves wholly at the feet of grace – to know that only through the Holy Spirit that any soul care is possible. And because it is not by our own strength but the Holy Spirit empowering that we are then released to be free and bold to know, explore, discover and touch the lives of others in their journeying realities. -
No matter what someone shares, however dark it may be, the grace of God will be there, infinitely, to meet that darkness. There very well may be (important) consequences/discipline that follow, but the love of God will also be there too. So, I don’t have to be afraid of the truth in me or someone else. God is more than able to handle it.

I think the statement is encouraging curiosity in general. It should be applied across the board because there is no issue that God does not know about and no issue that Jesus did not already pay the price for (that Grace covers).
