I identify with the fear that curiosity may uncover something in another’s soul that I have no idea what to do with! It is freeing to realize that I don’t need to know how to handle everything. Grace is there for a dependent child of God. My primary goal is to join the other person in their journeying reality and trust God’s Spirit to show up.

I can relate to the held back of curiosity. The fear as a leader that your going to uncover some dark secret that is more then you can handle. But knowing that grace can handle it and believing that with the the help of the Holy Spirit. These truths will give motivation and reignite a fresh curiosity.

If fear of not knowing what to do or how to respond when our curiosity is answered is preventing is from being curious. Remember that when we depend on God’s power and Grace, nothing is impossible with God.

I really like the thought of respectful curiosity. Thinking it stamps from the trust we have with each other. The relationship that has been buiilt upon God’s love that a safety net is formed. Then I can be free to care for others, really get to know what is happening with their souls. Acknowleging reliance is not on my own ability to even finding the right words to continue the conversation but on God’s spirit to guide the sharing, guide the insight into seeing the best for others.
