I plan on integrating lessons on service and helping others (physically) with the need to keep our bodies healthy, well, and able.

I include an essay question in my chapter test. For example, the chapter on the solar system the students will have to explain how to respond to a friend who does not understand how the solar system was created in six days. This gives me an idea of how the student would respond in a situation like this. It counts as a normal essay.

I would like to introduce the students to the fact that there is only one race, the human race. That God has created us all equally but with different cultures and languages. That if we study to learn a language (in my case Spanish) it will be useful as a tool for witnessing to others. It could be explicitly by sharing the Gospel in another language or it can be practical, by helping a person at the mall or the grocery store that does not know the English language and we can help with the communication. Either way we are using the tool of the language to communicate and show God’s love through us.

One assignment that I can do is have the students write a comparison/contrast paper taking a theme from a novel or short story and comparing that theme against the Bible. The students will need to highlight specific Bible verses that are applicable to the theme.

I use Biblical integration on a daily basis because I teach high school Bible courses. But I still bring it back around like for example is we are studying something in theology like Apollinarianism or Nestorianism, then I have the students think critically and discern Biblically about these concepts to see if the Bible supports these views or if it does not.
