We were reading a book about two friends. One of the friends was being unkind to the other friend. The other friend still helped the other friend when they needed it. We looked at what The Bible has to say about friendship and shared about why you should still help your friend.

The only Bible assessments I use is from our Bible curriculum. I will incorporate more Bible into my assessments and animal reports.

To teach a knowing God’s will lesson. Actually love this resource on it from ODB. https://ourdailybread.org/article/what-does-the-nt-say-about-gods-will. It is interesting to note that Jesus uses Sheep and Goats not Sheep and Pigs. Pigs were detestable whereas goats valuable to daily life. Without discernment and without knowing God’s will, we are not evil dirty pigs, but misguided goats who are unknown by the lord.

When I taught math we discussed the concept of orders of operations so I would tie the lesson to God and how he created things with structure and consistency. I need to improve on the integration and be more detailed in the presentation
