I technically use the word ‘Creation’ to demonstrate my topic on factors of production. I narrated how God created the heavens and the earth. On this subtopic, I was able to expose some of the resources created by God which are now useful for us to produce goods and services.
I also ask my students to carry out biblical research on why God made a man to become a dominion over other resources that are used to make goods and services

When I tested “creativity” with my 7th graders, after discussing in class how the genesis of our creativity comes from the fact that we are created in God’s image, they were given an assignment to make a poster that reflected that.

One I work on is helping our student body senate stay involved in prayer through the school year.

With my choir students, I have them carefully listen to the worship songs we practice and then they describe what the songs are about. They tie the lyrics with bible verses to create a more thorough understanding of how the songs we sings apply to our faith.

I have a lot of work to do on biblical integration. An idea I have revolves English class for 6th graders, reading “Inside Out & Back Again.” The main character is a Vietnamese girl who escapes at the fall of Saigon. She’s also Buddhist. She is not welcomed as a refugee in the United States. I would like to integrate this unit, comparing Christianity to Buddhism and exploring what the Bible says about how to treat a foreigner in our land.
