This is an area I’m still working on. We do a unit on different cultures and we discuss different religious beliefs.

I integrate biblical philosophy into social studies. We talk about communities and economy and I work to discuss why God designed us to be in communities and that God designed us to work as well as the creation mandate. I would like to include more bible verses to support these philosophies.

I am able to integrate the Bible into many of my History lessons. There is so much world history in Scripture and I make sure to include it in my lessons.

One assignment that I am working on is taking photos of student’s different communities in their life. This could range from their immediate family to a small group for church. I would have students do their best to show what makes their community special. With this I would have students explain how they serve their community. This assignment would encourage students to see the benefits of being in a community and serving one another by putting others before themselves.
