My goal is to implement biblical integration into my math course. My strategies include:
a. show shapes and sizes in God’s design of nature
b. patterns exist in creationBoth strategies will allow me to read God’s word and apply it to math.

I taught students in the public schools topic for real life situations connecting it to the lesson being taught. Now, I am able to take it a little further and incorporate truth, God’s word.

One of my goals for this coming school year is to add more Biblical integration to my assignments.

One of the goals I wrote down is to have a grade level meeting with my fellow colleagues to discuss how we can incorporate a biblical integrated model that will connect with the next grade level. Two of the specific strategies I will uses to meet this goal are: developing an outline from the unit development stage that I can share with my fellow 3rd grade teachers in how I plan on intentionally integrating the Bible. And secondly, meeting with the 4th grade teachers to see what their foundational expectations are from their incoming students for biblical integration is.

One goal I have is to begin with the suggested idea of developing unit plans, working to see the bigger picture, how truth is present specifically and how it is implied in those units. This seems like a less overwhelming task to approach it this way. I need the practice and discipline over time to get better and biblical integration. I will ask the other 5th grade teacher to join me in doing this so we can help each other. I think using the guided questions given by Martha MacCullough will be a helpful place to begin this practice.
