One of my goals is to have more indirect biblical integration. I sometimes cut that aspect too short. I focus on the lesson and the direct integration more; however, I think the indirect is just as important.

I am going to do research into the Bible to find some lessons to incorporate into my math courses. I am going to look into the statistics that are collected in the Bible and I am going to look at plans for building things so we can calculate building materials required. I want to have 2 lessons for Algebra 2 and 2 for Statistics before school starts.

My goal is to Incorporate biblical lessons into my ESL course. Although I am not required to do so in my school as the ESL teacher, I want to try to do 1 lesson every quarter with grade 4-8. To meet this goal I am going to revise a unit plan to incorporate biblical integration by using the questions posed in the last lesson.

My goal is to draft my first Geometry unit of this coming year based on the Old Testament assignment to the Levites of being the keepers of weights and measures. I will use the the guiding questions provided to evaluate my progress and then I will gather student feedback to determine which aspects of the implementation were successful.

One of my goals that I wrote down was to collaborate my art lessons with other teacher’s curriculum. I have been trying to communicate by email with the classroom teachers, but maybe we can find a better way to accomplish it. Some teachers love the idea, some see it as one more thing to do. I like to teach art lessons that help reinforce what the classroom teacher is teaching. I feel this helps the student get a better understanding of the content being taught. I will ask administration if they can help me accomplish this.
