To ensure that students understand the Biblical Integration at the end of the lesson. I will have them turn it in on an exit ticket or discuss it.

Goal:
Include more Biblical integration in U.S. History
Specific strategies:
1. Read several biographies this year of U.S. founders or leaders who were Christians to see how they walked with God and what they said and wrote. Include more direct quotes from these people in lessons
2. Form a group of teachers across grades who teach U.S. history to discuss and plan units and include more Biblical integration

One goal is to look at my units and determine how to apply the 8 guiding questions within them.

One of the goals I have is to work on more creating more biblically integrated math lessons. I have a book that I bought when I began teaching middle school and have yet to read that is about biblical integration in math. I plan to read it soon. I also need to work more on my curriculum mapping, which will help me in this area as well.

I work with many Middle Schoolers this year. Topics often arise that don’t line up with the Bible. I made a goal to find ways to point Middle Schoolers back toward the Bible when these topics arise. I would like too look for a book to help me in this area. I will be prepared with some topics that could arise.
