I like to diagram Bible verses the way that one would diagram sentences in English.

I also like to look at keywords in the original languages.

I struggled to understand the Bible on my own for years. I have found some material that makes it easier for me to grasp and more enjoyable to learn. One is the Through the Word app. A Pastor gives a small epsurp on one chapter at a time and then it reads the biblcal passage to you. It helps tremendously to have some context and key point ot look for while listening to the chapter. Another tool I love is my Life Application Study Bible. The notes and comments challenge me to apply the scripture to my life.
