Go over a particular passage for several days. The Spirit often reveals more and more above the superficial.

Set aside a certain time during the day which works best for you when you have no interruption and really allocate that time to be with God, to read His word, pray and worship Him. Join a small Bible study group so we can strengthen and reminded one another. Jot down verses and ponder upon it.

Read little bits at a time, and meditate on them.

In our very busy lives, it is important to “redeem the time”. One thing that has helped me is driving time. The hours every week that we spend driving, can be spent listening to God’s word. Bath time or walking the dog, can become prayer time. Things that must be done everyday help me to keep to a schedule.

The best way for me to study the Bible is to read it daily, to join bible study groups and talk about God in my everyday life.
