It helps me to read the Scripture in different language, such as Greek, because I am not really fluent with Greek and have to figure it out slowly.

I love helping my young students learn Scripture. I have our weekly Bible verse posted in the classroom. When I introduce the week’s verses, they listen as I read. Then I break the verses into smaller sections and I say it and they repeat it. Repetition is key. Every morning we say all of the verses we have learned during the school year in order to keep them fresh in our minds. I also use the week’s verses as “brain breaks” throughout the day. We intentionally work hard to “hide God’s Word in our hearts.”

I like to use the Bible’s that you can journal in. I like having the columns available to take notes in when needed.

Corporate Bible studies with fellow believers. Our church does 2 series of Bible studies each year – fall and winter. We have various studies we can choose from, and then a facilitator that leads each week’s lesson. During the week we have daily lessons that gets you into the Word and makes you think critically and analyze what’s being learned .
